Yes, this is a ridiculous selfie, but it was my reaction after seeing my book in print for the first time.

It’s a great feeling opening a box of books as an author, partly because it’s a relief, and partly because we write to make a difference. But being an author is hard work. The average author only sells 300 books and will never make back what they spend.
