INTERNET FILTERING

Qustodio is a family internet filtering solution that can be purchased as a monthly or annual subscription. You set routines, block or approve sites and check your child’s internet browsing history. It is not as intuitive as Family Zone (which was my go-to app and taken over by Qustodio in 2023) but it does the job.

DANIEL'S YOUTUBE AND PODCAST

The inaugural season of ‘The Spacemakers’ delves into the “The Fracturing of Our Attention and How To Reclaim Your Focus”

Over a 10-part series, hosts Daniel Sih and Matt Bain will look at topics such as:

  • Why can’t we watch a movie without grabbing our phones?
  • What’s pushing us toward burnout?
  • What do tinnitus suffers have to teach us about the power of the mind, and how is the internet reshaping our brains?
  • What’s the toll of silence deprivation on our ability to solve problems?
  • How might our widespread adoption of MS Teams and Slack be hindering our focus at work?
  • And most importantly, what practical steps can we take to retrain our minds to concentrate on what truly matters, for our health, relationships, and quality of life.

These are big topics, but the goal is simple – to leave you with more space to focus on what really matters in work and life.
